The Eyes of the Endermen
The eyes of the endermen are the worse of Minecraftia.
Worse than of any other mob.
Worse than Herobrine.
In fact, if Herobrine and an enderman had a staring contest, the enderman would win.
Even though an enderman's eyes don't cause pain and intense fear like Herobrine's, it's mysterious in its own way that catches you in a spell to hardly ever look away and suffer the enderman's torment.
Those who look in the purple gleam of the twilight figure's eyes, and have survived, they claim to see more endermen.
They claim to see a dragon.
They claim to see The End.
Those claims were never proven true or false.
Long ago in the mining village of Rodue, there was a mystical portal found deep underground in an old fortress. The portal looked like space and time and gave off an enderman-like particle once-and-a-while. The miner group who found the portal was curious about its frame and took out what we call today the Eye of Ender-
And the portal went out.
Shocked, the miners placed the Eye of Ender back in the frame and the portal lit again. A couple of the miners put their heads in the portal and back out, shocked about their find and ready to tell all of Minecraftia.
And we all know about what they saw. The saw what we call today The End.
The endermen saw it happen. They see everything happen. People usually say that its Herobrine who stalks and watched us all. Its the endermen that do it more. You'd think they're spies, and sometimes they are, but endermen are independent creatures. They watch us for unknown reasons, whether it is for spying or just out of curiosity of the Overworld, it's hard to tell. They're passive until looked at.
The eyes of endermen look at us when they leave The End, and watch us. If we looked at them, they'll freak. They'll kill. Hardly anyone knows exactly why that happens, but the theories usually generate around that the endermen don't like being looked at.
But, if you take the humans' words on what they saw in a enderman's eye, you might think a different theory. The endermen don't like to be looked at in the eyes because their eyes reveal their home and they want no one looking at it. No human at least.
Its really uncertain.
But we do know is that endermen are one of the worse kinds of mobs in Minecraftia. Their purple eyes being looked at causes a torture and more likely death. When dead, the enderman's eyes turn a dark greenish-blue color and can be used to teleport around when thrown, making it useful for travel, therefore making people hunt endermen for that purpose. Because of the endermen's hostility, ender pearls are rare due to it being hard to acquire.
These block-stealing, extremely black, teleporting, dangerously hostile creatures from The End, are endermen. Just don't look at their eyes. The eyes of endermen are still a mystery in itself.
Short, but I don't care that much. Just over 500 words if anyone wanted to know. I came up with this idea at camp last weekend and thought it'd be something nice to one-shot. So, how'd you like it?
