Albus Potter was reading in the Slytherin common when he heard a knock coming from the entrance. Getting up from the armchair he went over and opened it find his cousin Lucy on the other side. She was wearing jeans and a light blue V-neck pullover with ballet flats and her light brown hair tied up in a ponytail
"Hello, Luce, what are you doing here?"
"Al! Hi, I'm yeah to help Eli on his um Herbology project, I'm his partner"
Albus wasn't stupid, he knew she was lying but still stepped aside letting her inside the common room.
"Wow, I expected this room to be um a lot darker" commented Lucy looking around at the walls, chairs and bookcases that adorned the Slytherin common room.
"Surprisingly it's a lot brighter than people think" her cousin replied
"Yes well, where is Eli?" Lucy asked as she sat down on the black couch
"He's taking a shower" Albus replied sitting down next to her
"Oh…okay" she replied trying to hide her blush
"C'mon Lucy, I know you're lying, first of all, I know you don't take Herbology, I know Eli's partner in Herbology is Troy (Flint), since there are the only two slytherin guys in the seventh year class and finally you didn't bring any books with you" he told her.
"Okay, fine, I don't do Herbology, but you're wrong I did bring a book with me" Lucy told him pulling her Potions book out of her jeans pocket.
"Potions? You're here to study potions with him?" he asked still not completely believing her
"Yes, is that so hard to believe?"
"Well kind of, couldn't you study with Rose?, I mean you are in the same house"
"Al, Rose is in the Head dorm and she's helping Louis with DADA, the poor kid isn't as good as his sisters when it comes to that subject" Lucy told him
"Oh well, as long as she's not off with a boy snogging somewhere"
Sure enough at the at moment Scorpius came through the entrance.
"You mean like him?" Lucy asked him rolling her eyes
"yes him"
"Oh hello, Lucy" Scorpius greeted her
"Hi Malfoy, why do you call me by my given name, but you call Rose, Weasley?"
He shrugged, "she's too easy to annoy" came his reply
"Right" said ALbus in dry tone
"So what brings you to our Turf?" Scorpius asked Lucy
"I'm here to study with Eli" she replied waving the text book
"Oh is that what they call it these days?" Malfoy asked her coyly
"MALFOY!" Albus screamed at the blond
"Chill AL, I was only joking"
"You better be" Al mumbled under his breath
"Why are you here and not in the head dorm" Al asked him
"Can't I come by and visit my best mate?" the blond questioned
Eli came downstairs from the Seventh year boys dorm wearing black jeans, black hi-tops and a grey polo shirt.
"Hello Lucy, you look nice"
"Thanks, so do you, ready to study"
"Yeah sure, I left my stuff on the table earlier" he said making his way over with Lucy in tow.
Albus and Scorpius watched on in a mixture of amusement and annoyance.
"He better not hurt her" Albus told the blond
"He's a good guy he won't, we've known him for seven years now" Scropius replied
"Yeah well atleast he's better than you" said Albus looking at the blond
Scorpius gave him a crooked smile
"Don't worry, Lucy is better at hexes than Eli" Said Clarrisa Renwood a fellow Seventh Year Slytherin as she sat next to Albus
"You're right on that one Risa" replied Albus
The raven haired wizard watched his cousin and his dorm mate study, hoping that Scorpius was right.
