Night Clock
Tick, Tock On the clock,
Waiting for the dead to drop.
Clock strikes one,
Another is gone.
Clock ticks two, I say "BOO!".
Clock traces three, My o' me,
Over there by the tree!
That one cannot possibly see!
Clock frames four,
Someone shut the door.
Clock faces five,
Oh my, what a hive.
Clock skirts six,
They dropped their sticks.
Clock sounds seven,
Couple more goes to Heaven.
Clock shakes at eight,
So do the ones who were out to late.
Clock chimes nine,
That poison was fine.
Clock takes ten,
Police are rather dim.
Clock exchanges to eleven,
The same as seven.
Here we are at midnight,
Standing under the moonlight.
One through eleven,
One hundred and thirty-seven,
Waiting to go to Heaven.
