Jesse had some time on his hands, He decided to go for a drive, Forget today's to-do-list,

Forget about their mounting debt, The bills that still needed to be payed,

They've been sitting on top the t.v stand for a good two weeks.

"They can continue to sit there too." Jesse bitterly speaks.

To think that was bad enough Jesse's relationship with Billy

wasn't all that great either at-least not for the moment.

Billy had alot of stress, Related to work,

It was putting a strain on their personal life, One that Jesse couldn't tolerate.

There were words spoken, Some could be brushed off but others would not be able to just be left alone,

No they couldn't just be forgot about, Some were hitting to the bone, Things of the past.

You can't just take words back so what was said lingered in the air, In their minds.

On their faces, You could tell what was spoken was right behind them, Waiting to face them.

If they didn't get some space, Some time apart then what they've been building up these 10 plus years would be nothing but rumble on the ground, A pain to just want to forget about.

Jesse wanted to wash it down but he could not get his fingers to grasp the bottle,

It slipped through his hands and smashed down on the concrete.

This month was a hard one, Much more difficult then he could handle.

Billy saw the downward spiral,

He sees that I'm sinking but what can he do

when he's trying to stay afloat himself.

The waves are crashing, This tidal wave is unrelenting.

What can a person do but take the hits?.

Jesse takes a seat down on the road, He looks out ahead of the blue ocean.

He wishes that things could calm down, That it could be the way it used to be, Before all this mess came up.

Drenched in the salty air, He breaths it in but he can't seem to get the sour taste of quilt out of his mouth.

He shouldn't have brought up the past, He new what would happen.

His anger made him blind, He couldn't stop himself in time.

The words were said and now here he is reaping what he sowed.
