AN - I'm not sure about completing this one, I don't usually write in an already created characters POV. If I get enough reviews I'll continue it. Please read through, his thoughts change quickly!

Duo had Hilde, Wufei had Sally, Quatre had Dorothy, and even Heero; he had Relena. I was once again lonely and silent. Nobody was in love with me. Not that it bothered me.why would it? I didn't need a companion to get through life. I had gotten this far, hadn't I? Life was fine as it was after the war. I had friends, a roof over my head, a full belly {which I never had before!}, and my sister and I were reunited. Why did my thoughts cross over the matter so often? Perhaps I just didn't know where to turn to after the war. Maybe I just needed some time to get used to peace. I'd never known peace, so maybe I just needed some time to adjust. I don't know, life is confusing. I felt my eyes become droopy. I'd been up all night performing, so I was really tired. How little I knew, that after I fell into this slumber that my life would change for me.

I awoke to a loud growl. Duo's stomach? What? No. As my vision cleared I noticed Annie giving me a demanding look. I let go of the cold bars on her cage and stretched. Cat walked in and smiled.

" Mornin' Trowa." She greeted.

I nodded.

" Using that clown suit for yer PJ's again?" she jested.

I gave her a look and grabbed some meat. Annie seemed to grin in approval. I opened the cage and dumped it in her over-sized dish. I rubbed her back, and she purred.

" Good girl." I told her, patting her twice.

" You gotta real way with animals." Said a female voice.

It wasn't Cat. I turned to see a raven-haired girl before me. Her hair was tied back in a long braid that cascaded down to her legs. She had muddy brown eyes, upon which she wore silver-framed glasses. She walked into the cage and stroked Annie's mane.

" So. I guess I walked into a circus?" she confirmed.

I nodded.

" I'm kinda lost .I guess you could say."

I gave her a confused look.

" I'm running away from someone, I just have no clue where I am." She answered finally.

" Hey buddy, you talk?" she interrogated.

I nodded.

" Then why in the." she stopped.

" Oh my god, where is my brain today. I'm so sorry. This is what Mike was saying. Sir, I'm so sorry about just coming in here, and bein' all talkative and stuff. I bet I'm bothering you. Guess I should leave." she started towards the door, but something told me to stop her.

I grabbed her hand.

" I like the company, it's ok." I told her.

I noticed a strange red line down her palm. I looked back up at her face. Her cheek was badly bruised, and there was a strange red dot in the middle of it.

A broken blood vessel; I had gotten one from hitting my hand into Annie's cage on accident.

" Really?" her voice sounded hopeful.

I nodded, and pulled her back over. She reached up; more towards me than herself. She rubbed her bruised cheek though.

Cat had done that before.

I noticed my hand was still in hers. Feeling a little embarrassed, we both pulled away. A new addition to my life, she was. A mystery waiting to be figured out.

A beautiful one at that.
