Author's Note: So this is just a cute little fluffy story I wrote in attempt to get rid of the sad memories from Dance With Somebody. I loved the ending and the office scene, but the bedroom scene ripped my heart to pieces. This takes place right after the ending number.
Disclaimer: I do not own Glee.
As everyone fled the auditorium, hugging each other playfully and making plans for dinner that evening, Kurt, propped on the piano, and Blaine sitting on the bench, together they sat gazing into each other's eyes.
"I just love you, so much. Please remember that." Kurt said, breaking the comforting silence.
"I know that now, Kurt. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have been mad. I was distancing myself and-"
Kurt cut Blaine off by lying down on his stomach and pulling Blaine into a sweet, tender kiss.
Blaine slowly slid his hands around Kurt's shoulders, taking in his warmth. He wanted more of that. Now.
"Come here." Blaine whispered against Kurt's lips.
Kurt responded promptly by sliding around on the piano, stomping on the piano keys and pushed himself down, straddling the bench. Kurt leaned in for another kiss, but was rejected by Blaine who jerked away quickly.
Kurt cocked his head, alarmed and confused at the gesture.
"I'm sorry, but can we just hug? Please?" Blaine asked softly.
"Of course." Kurt smiled, wrapping his arms firmly around Blaine. Blaine repeated the action, gripping onto Kurt's back and nuzzled his chin into Kurt's shoulder. Blaine breathed in the aroma of Kurt, the sweet smell of vanilla and jasmine. The scent always eased away Blaine's worries, his angst, his everything. All he could think about was Kurt, how much he loved him, how much Kurt was to him. Blaine scooted in closer, wanting to be stuck in this moment forever.
"I love you. I love you, I love you, I love you." Blaine began to sob.
"Shh." Kurt replied, tracing circles on Blaine's back. "I love you so much, Blaine. I'm sorry for making you feel insignificant in my life when really you are everything to me. I will never, ever lose you. Got that? Now enough of this silly talk."
Blaine hugged Kurt tighter. I'm so lucky to have him. Blaine thought. I won't be alone next year, I will always have Kurt.
"So, about my text earlier. Shall we pursue that now?" Blaine flirted, pulling away from Kurt to catch his gaze and winked. His eyes were red-rimmed, and it broke Kurt's heart to see Blaine so upset.
"Oh, honey, I would love that, except I believe my hat would look better on a hat rack rather than being tarnished on your floor." Kurt playfully argued.
"Whatever, whatever. I still think your hat would look better on my floor at this moment." Blaine smirked.
After a few witty comebacks and romantic banter, the two quickly drove to Kurt's house, where Blaine noticed that the red sticky note on the picture of Kurt and Blaine at prom was replaced with a blue heart.
The love of my life.
AN: So I couldn't really remember what color corresponded with what was suppose to happen with Kurt's belongings, but I believe blue meant to bring with to NYC. (I changed it to blue, thank you to my reviewers/commenters)
Thank you for reading.
