When Sasuke was little, Itachi carried him on his back.
After Sasuke abandoned Konoha, and Naruto and Sakura brought him back, Naruto carried Sasuke on his back.
When they were Jounin on a mission, Sasuke had gotten severely injured, and Naruto carried Sasuke on his back, even though he could barely stand on his own two feet.
(Naruto claims it was only because Sasuke's bigger and heavier than him – which is true.)
Sasuke is ANBU Captain now. Naruto is Naruto.

The Hokage of Konoha.
And they're sitting beneath a sakura tree, Naruto's head resting on Sasuke's shoulders, blonde hair tickling the pale man beneath the chin as a warm breeze whispers by. Sasuke switches his glance from the scroll he's writing on and to the blonde man's face.
He notes with mild amusement that Naruto had fallen asleep.
Sasuke sights gently and he rolls his scroll up and tucks it away. He shifts Naruto a bit so he's leaning on the trunk of the tree. Sasuke gets up and crouches behind Naruto. It's a bit difficult, but he manages to get Naruto on to his back, and Sasuke stands up, making sure Naruto's arms are secure around his neck, and his legs around his waist.
He trudges on slowly through Konoha and heads to Naruto's apartment.
(Naruto may be Hokage, but Naruto – for some reason – preferred living in an apartment.)
Sasuke carries Naruto on his back whenever the dobe falls asleep. It's the least he could do, for all those times Naruto had to carry him on his back.
Naruto shifts and buries his face in Sasuke's neck, subconsciously nuzzling him as he sighs and murmurs something along the lines of, Sasuke, give me back my ramen… bastard…
A smirk twitches at the Uchiha's lips.
Naruto tightens his hold.
Sasuke's arms squeeze more securely around Naruto's legs.
The ANBU Captain takes his Hokage home, and watches down on him during the night.
Don't have to prove that you are so strong
