Author's Note: I had sworn off doing anything but JJ/Hotch, but I thought I would be nice and do some advertising for the Profiler's Choice Awards. Info at the bottom.

Robbery

"What are you doing here, Morgan?" Hotch demanded, opening the front door to his house.

Morgan frowned. "I heard there was another robbery in your neighborhood."

Tilting his head to the side, Hotch shrugged. "What concern is it of yours?"

"Come on, Hotch," Morgan begged. He huffed when Hotch continued to stare at him. "Look, just because we're not… we're not together anymore, doesn't mean that I stopped caring about you."

"I think that's exactly what that means," Hotch folded his arms, "or at least you're supposed to be trying." Grinding his teeth, Hotch continued. "I don't want you showing up it here because you hear about a robbery in my neighborhood. I don't want you showing up here at all. You wanted out of my life and you got it. I want you to stay out."

Morgan launched himself at the other man, grabbing his face and kissing him forcefully. "I don't want you out my life. I was scared. I was stupid. But I love you!" He kissed Hotch again. "I love you! And I don't want to lose you."

Hotch pushed him away. "You can't just show up here in the middle of the night and kiss me and think that makes everything okay. You hurt me. More than that, you crushed me. I love you so much and that just wasn't enough for you."

"It was. It is! Please," Morgan pleaded. "Aaron, please! Let me make it up to you. Let me prove to you that I'm not scared anymore."

"How do you plan to do that, Derek?" Hotch whispered, his eyes softening.

Buoyed by Hotch calling him by his first name, Morgan dropped to one knee. He grabbed Hotch's hand. "Aaron Henry Hotchner, I love you. I have loved you for a long time and I will love you forever. Will you please, please marry me and be mine forever?"

Hotch's jaw dropped as Morgan pulled out an engagement ring. He took a few deep breaths before nodding. "Yes."

"Really?" Morgan asked, stunned with disbelief.

"My life is better with you in it than without." Hotch squawked when Morgan tackled him to the ground, covering his body. Hotch cradled his cheek. "I love you."

Morgan closed his eyes, briefly. "I love you, too."
