Prologue

A flash of light burns my eyes as I stare at the raged building we call home. A truck with shiny new paint job parks itself in my driveway. I've seen this truck before. It came by many years ago and marked my family, blood and bullets when scattered throughout the house. a few moments after they left my mother and my father had turned. My instincts told me to run but my heart told me to stay and be killed so I could two rome the heavens with them. But I can't do that. I promised my dad before he died that I would take care of my sisters. So I call Yvette to come down stairs and pick up Aria out of her crib. I put Aria in her coat and grab some food from the cabinet hovering over the stove and we're on our way sneaking out the back door. I strap arias car seat to the back of my motor cycle leaving just enough room for Yvette to slide in behind me. I hit the ignition with my foot and off we go down my empty, street lit road.
