The world was all clouds and lace-like frost as I lay on my back looking at the silver coated sky. It was just about to snow for sure. Sure enough, little fluffs of snow came floating down and began to attach themselves to me.
"Too cold too cold too cold," I thought. I mean, I loved the snow but no human being could lay in the snow for long without getting frostbite, and I wasn't about to take my chances. Sighing, I stood up and took one last look at the sight before me, then headed for the front door. I hesitated with my hand on the knob and turned around. Someone was watching me. I could feel it. A quick look around proved that there was no one there. A shiver went up my spine. Definitely time to go inside.
I was greeted by a mess of brown hair and bright green eyes giving me a gap toothed smile.
"What are we so excited about now?," I asked my little brother.
"It's snowing!," he said excitedly.
"Yes it is,"
"Aaandddd do you know what that means?,"
I rolled my eyes. "What does it mean?"
"That jack frost is here!""
"That's great kiddo! Maybe you'll see him," I said for his sake.
"You think? Wow I hope so!"
Jack Frost. Yeah right.
