Oh gosh, I finally managed to write something! It's a lil' drabble, which was kinda inspired by Lyrei's Drops of Life, her newly created drabble collection thingy? :D
Think I'll be making this into a collection of sorts, so yeah. I'm hoping to add more stuff to this mini archive of mine.
My lil' drabble's exactly 100 words, but obviously I increased the word count with my A/N(s) and all. :D That happens with everything I write, anyway. :P
Oh, I've got a new fanfic challenge up on my page. Do check it out!
As always: read, review, and enjoy.
Haven't said that in a long, long while, I know.
Her sadness echoed through the corridors of the empty toy factory, the whirl of the factory's machines being the sole accompaniment to her sad melody.
It taunted her with its black eyes, pelting her with unspoken curiosity at as she sat there, regretting her decision of throwing away everything that she had worked so hard to collect. What had taken her weeks to put together had been discarded just that easily, all because she'd thought that she'd never find that missing piece.
The elusive omok piece simply sat there, its eyes twinkling innocently at her under the dim factory lighting.
Oh, I know the feeling oh too well, when you spend so much time trying to finish collecting something, but you give up when you're almost done 'cause you think you'll never finish with it and poof, you find what you're looking for when you just happen to throw away the rest of it.
Cookies are in the jar right there, as per usual, so go right on ahead and take some. (:
