I'm 17, you're very cold. I've got my big coat on
I hear your laugh and look up smiling at you, I run and trip
In the pumpkin patch, near the tractor rides. Look now the sky is grey.
I hug you neck and fall asleep as you run home
I don't know why your eyes change all the time.
I know you're not scared of anything at all
Don't know how long you're going to stay,
But I know I had the best day with you today!
I'm 18 now and don't know how you could be so mean.
I wake up screaming, Charlie holds me tight, I grab the keys.
I drive and drive until I reach the town 15minuites away and I talk and motor bike till I remember your name.
I don't know who I'm gona talk to now at school.
That's until I go to Italy to rescue you.
Don't know how long it's gona take till you make that change,
But I know I had the best day with you today
I have 4 excellent parents.
Their strengths are making me stronger
As for my brothers and sisters
Inside and out they're smarter than I am.
I grew up in a smallish house, but now have space to run and I have the best days with you.
There is a memory I have from back when I was 18,
You set up a video but were instead watching me.
It was about Romeo and Juliet, yes it was
You are smart, and also the prettiest man in the whole wide world.
Now I know why your eyes change all the time.
I know you were mostly on my side even when I was wrong.
