"Be yourself; everyone else is taken."
Ginny looked up from her spaghetti, a few noodles hanging from her mouth. Quickly, she slurped them up and wiped her hand over her mouth, before setting it down on the table.
"What?" she asked, her mouth full. She blushed, swallowed, and tried again. "What?"
"It's a quote," Luna said calmly, a small, soft smile on her face from what she had just seen. "From a Muggle writer, I believe, named Oscar Wilde. I heard it from Hermione. Well, she told me who it was after I saw the quote on her T-shirt."
". . . Okay?" Ginny said, confused as the where Luna was going with this. "Why are you telling me this?"
Luna's smile grew even softer, if that was possible, and her eyes seemed to turn into warm, fuzzy gray blankets right before Ginny's. Ginny instantly found herself returning it. It was impossible not to.
"Because out of everyone I could tell, you are the one who needs to hear it the least."
Luna stretched her hand towards the one Ginny had on the table. She took it, and with her long, elegant fingers, she began tracing an unknown design on the back of it. Ginny immediately felt calm, and looked at Luna, a blush rising to her cheeks.
"Well," Ginny said, her voice hoarse and her mind running at a million miles a minute. "Out of everyone I could ever tell, you are the one who needs to hear it the least."
Luna's smile became brighter than a thousand suns, and Ginny loved sunny days.
"I'm glad we are doing this," Luna said. "I wasn't sure you would have a good time."
Ginny looked at Luna. She struggled to think of anyone more beautiful, and knew that she had to tell Luna the truth.
"All of my good times have been with you."
