DISCLAIMER: I don't own Merlin or Twilight.
AN: It is obvious that in this story Bella never was in 2006 for the events, she was a part of Merlin's time. Phil is her stepfather, Renee is her mother and Charlie is her father – I'll explain that later in the story if there are enough reviews. So I'm thinking about giving Bella magic, should I? Love you all, Amanda
P.S. My other story La Soiree WILL be updated, I've just not had time what with school starting all over again.
The group of knights and their king sat around the burning fire laughing merrily; they were having a week-long hunt and it only being their second night they were not worrying whether they caught anything at all. This was a celebration for Arthur's marriage and the victory of Camelot, it was no feast with music and dancing but the significance was greatly appreciated by the men. They were drinking joyfully, having bought ale at a nearby pub, and telling stories and jokes alike – which only increased their laughter.
In a thin moment of silence the sound of leaves crunching under light footsteps, and heavy footsteps, were heard; Arthur motioned for his knights to be quiet and silently drew his sword along with the others. When they inched forward there was, however, no need as the source of the footsteps soon burst out of the trees and bushes and into the moderately sized field already engaged in a sword-fight; on one side, huffing great breaths, was a large flabby man and his opponent was a young brunette woman who wielded her sword expertly.
The two duellers took no notice of the kings-men and after a small while the woman, with her wild brunette tresses splaying down her back and around her face, successfully pointed her sword at the man's throat.
"So," she sneered, "Phillip; are you able to concede your defeat by a woman's hand – myself no less?"
"Never!" he spat out, turning his nose up at the woman, "Your mother was a whore, and so shall you be – by my hand!"
The young woman became livid and she raised her sword before swiftly ending the man's life by slitting his throat with a deep cut; she had a slightly relieved look on her face when his body finally slumped to the ground. She turned her head to the right at that moment and finally noticed King Arthur and the knights; she tilted her head to the side as one of the men began to approach her.
"You handled the sword very well m'lady," he said, "I am Sir Leon."
She let Sir Leon kiss her hand as he bowed down slightly, as per the customary greeting.
"Isabella, sir - you are knights, aren't you?" she asked, getting a nod from Leon, "Well... it is completely improper behaviour for me to be here, you will have to excuse me!"
Before either Leon or any of his companions could reply she whistled loudly, summoning her pure black stallion out of the bushes; as the stallion came by her she jumped up and saddled quickly before swiftly riding away, leaving a group of shocked men behind her.
"What'd I miss?" Came the voice of the servant Merlin from the bushes behind the knights, carrying a pile of fresh logs in his arms.
AN: For now I could consider this a one-shot but I know that I'll eventually write another chapter whether it's in another day, week or month. If you would like the update to be within a week or two (I'm currently in high-school so updating is difficult) then please review A.S.A.P!
