Hold On
Lord, you tell me to hold on,
But it is so hard.
I try to hang on;
But my thread is slowly tearing,
And I feel that I am tearing
Along with it.
You said that you would never
Give me something that I could not handle;
But this burden is so heavy;
That I can feel my feet crumbling beneath me.
I know that even though I may feel alone
That you are right there beside me;
Guiding me and pulling me through.
I will hold on Lord,
Because I know in the end
This journey will make me stronger
And a better person
Who will be prepared for your Kingdom.
I'll hold on Lord,
