Chapter One/First Duel.

Cherry Pegasus P.O.V.
It was an unusually quiet day in domino city. My uncle, Maximillian Pegasus, says that it was 45 years ago that he could hear the birds, like today. I was playing on my 3DS, with Pokemon Ultra Sun up and running, when I saw my uncle painting, I instantly had an idea.
"Hey uncle?" I asked him in a quiet tone.
"Yes, My little gumdrop?" He replied, teasingly.
"First, please don't call me that," I replied, a little annoyed. "And secondly, I have an idea to boost your company's profits. Why not obtain the rights to make pokemon in Duel Monsters cards?"
He paused for a minute, almost if he was wondering why he didn't think of it. Personally, I was thinking the exact same thing.
"Why? You don't even like duel monsters. You like your 3DS better-" he realized where this was heading. "Oh! I understand now! You're saying if I make the cards you will play?"
"Exactly my thought." I exclaimed proudly, happy that I got my point across.
"Well… ok. We'll go. Think of it as a present. Your birthday is tomorrow." He smiled. I smiled back.
(TIMESKIP TO THE NEXT DAY)
I walked downstairs, in my new school uniform. My Aunt squealed and hugged me.
"Eeek! You're so cute! I could just squeeze you!" She squished me into a hug.
"…you … already … are… can't… breathe…" I Squeezed out of me. I would've passed out if she didn't let go, but thankfully she did. I gasped for air.
"Sorry. I got carried away. You were just so adorable! I bet you'll get a boyfriend soon with the looks of yours." She smiled. My face went immediately tomato red.
"Not on my watch." My uncle replied quickly. "Hurry up. You're going to be late."
I grabbed my cards, and an invention I created. It was called the Duel Disk Prototype: X-4000
Soon, we arrived at school. The bell rang, and i ran to class. I saw my teacher waving me over.
"Class." She announced, making everyone quiet. "We have a new student, Meet Cherry Pegasus."
"Pleasure to meet you all." I replied, a hand was raised. "Yes?"
A boy with spiky hair stood up. he had a puzzle on his neck.
"Are you related to the Creator of Duel Monsters, Maximilian Pegasus?" He asked.
"You mean my uncle?" I asked
The Whole Class Went Silent.
