A/N: My first Blue Bloods fic, and I'm ashamed to say it...not some of my best work..but while reading Misguided Angel...the part about the meeting with The Conspiracy...I was inspired...and just couldn't help myself. While I am not a Twilight fan...(I found it a story with good potential...but well...you know...) I do think it'd be hilarious as an idea thought up by the Conspiracy. I'm sure that the Conspiracy doesn't really do this, but it wouldn't work any other way so...please be gentle...but I'd love reviews.
DISCLAIMER: Melissa De La Cruz was the genius behind the Blue Bloods, not me...so...yeah.
It was only a small meeting of the Conspiracy…just a small get together to toss ideas around…because…all the Blue Bloods had to face it, there was only so many times that you could tell the humans that garlic would get rid of a vampire. It was just a little something they did every now and again to keep their ideas fresh and alive. This would be her first real meeting like this…and boy did she have some ideas.
"So…let's get down to business, shall we?" Seymour Corrigan, head of the subcommittee said.
The rest of those gathered agreed, and thus began the meeting…
"So, I've been thinking…this whole…slash-and-behead theory's been getting' kinda old," someone said.
"At least it still keeps their attention, and it gets a lot of nice action shots…now the garlic thing…that was just horse and buggy thinking…" said Harold Hopkins.
"I do agree, but seriously now, we're here to discuss new ideas, not old ones," Josie Mara spoke up.
The discussion continued and lost her as she become lost in her own thoughts until she heard someone say her name, "What about you Meyer, you got any ideas?" the question came from Lane Barclay-Fish.
This was it…this was her chance…
"Well…I do…have a few ideas…" she said hesitantly, she paused for a minute to gather her thoughts and she read their looks of , 'Get the hell on with it then,' and continued, "I've been thinking about new young adult vampire romance series…"
The assembly nodded, there were a few murmurs, "Sounds like a nice idea…" "Simple enough…" "Good target audience…" She felt reassured so she went on…
"There's a vampire and a human, and they fall in love, but he tries to avoid her because he thinks of her as forbidden fruit, and then he leaves her and she falls in love with a werewolf and then-,"
"Okay, we get the idea, but what characteristics are you planning to give these vampires to throw the Red Bloods off?" Warden Corrigan asked.
"Well…instead of drinking human blood, these are sort of vegetarian vampires…meaning that they drink animal blood," she paused again to see what they thought, and there were a few approving nods, "And they are in a constant war with a pack of werewolves who were spirit warriors from a Native American tribe, oh and…the explanation for the no sunlight thing is that they tend to sparkle very-,"
She was cut off when Lane spoke up again, laughing a bit when he spoke, "Wait…sparkle? Are you serious? Vampires that sparkle in the sun?"
"Well…yes," she answered simply.
"Okay! I've heard enough," Corrigan spoke, "Approved."
She smiled brightly, thanked him and the rest of the group and sat back and listened as the meeting went on…
