It's Smitchie with a hint of one-sided Shess (Shane / Tess). Shess sounds really bad, though...Tane? Tessane?

Tessa Claire – Tess – Tyler is beautiful, but not in her eyes.
On the outside, she's beautiful. Thick, silky blonde hair, azure blue eyes that brighten every so often, stick-thin figure. She's the envy of every girl at Camp Rock, including one Mitchie Torres.
Tess doesn't think that she's beautiful. In fact, she's rather self-conscious behind her Mean Girl mask.
And just for the record? Tess doesn't just like Shane Gray; she's completely in love with him.

Michelle Elizabeth – Mitchie – Torres is beautiful, but not in her eyes.
On the outside she's beautiful. Long, pretty brown hair, chocolate brown eyes with flecks of deep red, curvacious figure. She's the envy of every girl at Camp Rock, including one Tess Tyler.
Mitchie still doesn't think that she's beautiful. In fact, she's still rather self-conscious behind her "This is real; this is me" mask.
And just for the record? Mitchie isn't dating Shane Gray just because he's famous; she likes him for who he is.

Shane Gray knows that he's the luckiest guy in the world, to be dating Mitchie Torres.
But he feels guilty.
It's like dating one girl at the expense of another, the other girl being Tess Tyler.
He wants to make them both happy. He wants to make them both feel more beautiful than they've ever felt.
He wishes that he could make them both see that beauty is only skin deep.
Or is it?

Tess Tyler is ugly on the inside.
Even though she's been making an effort to be nicer to people, it hasn't really been working. In fact, many people believe she's getting worse.
A lot worse.
Tess Tyler is beautiful on the outside, but absolutely hideous on the inside.

Mitchie Torres is even prettier on the inside.
She's always been nice to people. Even though she had a little trouble with Tess and lying during the summer, she's okay now. Lots of people think she's even been nicer.
Maybe she's just happier.
Mitchie Torres is beautiful; even more so on the inside.

Shane Gray knows that he made the "right" choice in choosing Mitchie over Tess.
Being with Mitchie makes him happier than he's ever been.
But sometimes he wonders what could have been if he had picked the Harlequin romance over the Cinderella story.
The Cinderella story always has a happy ending, though, and that's more than enough for him.

Tess Tyler has yet to find her Mr. Right; someone who makes her beautiful on the inside. That someone isn't Shane Gray.
Everyone else knows this – Tess has yet to figure it out.

Yeah, kinda weird, I know. Even though I absolutely despise Tess, I'd love to work more with her and her one-sided love for Shane. If anyone writes some good, solid, Tess/Shane angst, you'll be my BFF.
