They were both brazenly perving the bare-chested form of Wade Kinsella as he chopped firewood before them.
"You could even go so far as to say that he is the very epitome of anti-New York."
The young doctor turned with a grin. "Probably why I married him then."
"That, or you were pissed and had taken leave of your senses."
"Could be that too."
"Gotta say, never thought I'd see that day that Miss Zoe Hart got married and settled down in a little town where everyone knows everyone. How did that happen?"
"I ask myself that same question every day."
And as Zoe's sweaty, muscled, still bare-chested husband moved toward them and planted a lengthy kiss on her friend's lips, she pondered that it really wouldn't be that hard a question to ask herself daily.
