Brother, I want you to know that I hate you even more than I did before.
I sit tied up beside a family member whom I have never met...and he tells me why you killed our clan, why you betrayed us.
My hatred for you begins to turn to regret and sadness as I am reminded that I have killed you by the painful stinging in my eyes.
Dear brother, I am told that you killed the clan to save Konoha, to save me.
But I am hearing this from a man I have not met before. I am not hearing these wonderful words from your lips, because you are dead, I killed you.
I understand you wanted me to be strong, but was it too much to ask that when I was finally ready to kill you, that you tell me what truly happened? Is it Itachi, is it?!
I have received love, only to have it ripped away by you, received satisfaction of your death only to have it ripped away by you. How can I sleep when I know that now I must avenge your death with my own.
An eye for an eye they always say...and yet you wanted to protect me? YOU LIAR!
How dare he say that to me, how dare this man imply that you loved me! You did not, you ripped me apart and watched the pieces writhe beneath you, you monster, you roach.
I fight the tears from falling down my cheeks. It hurts more than any other pain, sears the pits of my stomach. I cannot ignore this Itachi, I cannot ignore this betrayal.
Did you not trust me? Do you want me to feel such guilt? Or are you perhaps still alive, smiling from behind the shadows. " Foolish little brother" You'll whisper, because I have fallen for your tricks again...
A small tinge of hope rises in me. That must be it! Itachi Uchiha would not fall so easily. Yes, my god-forsaken elder brother is alive, and I must still kill him. For this is all a lie, and itachi is still a killer.
Yes, dearest brother, you are still a killer. Because...if you aren't...
