A/N: Very short, just something I thought up of while watching the reruns that ran yesterday. This is just a little double-drabble to start my path into Tin Man fan-fiction. Expect some Cain/Glitch slash soon.

She Calls Them Friend

Zero cringed at the thought of what Azkadellia would do to him once she heard that the girl and the rest of her rag-tag band of would-be heroes had evaded capture, yet again. He took his time striding to where the woman was. When he finally reached her chamber, a guard standing watch outside stopped him from entering.

"She is in session with one of her mobats and wishes not to be disturbed," he told the Longcoat leader.

"She spends so much time with those nasty little pets of hers," Zero muttered in distaste.

"Oh, Zero, Zero, Zero…" a voice tsk-tsked from the doorway.

Both men looked towards the door, trying to hide their startlement, as Azkadellia took a step out. Dressed in her golden gown, there was a condescending smirk on her face; it was directed towards the fair haired one.

"They are more than just pets." She spat the word out as a though it were a despicable curse.

She turned her head slightly, just enough to catch her mobat, Sora, fly off. In a murmur neither man could make out she said, "They are my friends."

A beat passed, and she again addressed the Longcoat leader, words cold and snippy. "Come, give your report."
