I do not own the Star Trek; I merely like playing with the characters in stories and in poems.
Losing
The art of losing isn't hard to master
It creeps, silently, so it's that much harder,
To see that the end result isn't such a disaster.
To lose people, much faster,
When they grow apart, for a starter,
The art of losing isn't hard to master.
Losing places isn't such a fluster,
Days, months, years, places, people, all farther
Away now. The end result isn't a disaster
Losing objects and keepsakes are harsher
Harder to get back, to move forward is easier,
The art of losing isn't hard to master.
Lost in work, laugh it off like a jester.
I was never a great planner,
Missing everything was not a disaster.
Running away was not faster,
In fact in made it just that much Harder
The art of losing is not too hard to master,
But losing you was a big disaster.
What did you think of it? Please tell me.
