Chapter 1. Preface.
Bella Swan has to move to the small town of forks to live with her dad for a few years. She is now seventeen and abused, been that way for years. She cuts herself now to help the pain, she has bruises all over her body from where her father beats her so hard. She's cut her hair and dyed it black. She now wears dark things, so much different from what she used to wear.
Now this year she has her second year in high school and everybody ignores Bella, teases Bella, trick's Bella, but the jokes on them, because all that's already happened, but tens time worse. After about a week, the Cullen's move in and see Bella, Alice is the first to see if she can talk to Bella, become friends. But when a certain girl tells on Bella for hanging out with the new kids, Bella is more afraid to hang out with them now more than ever, and the Cullen's are determined to find out what's wrong, though some are more determined than others...
