-1What if they met differently?
"Mom, I'm going to dads this weekend. I'll be back the week before school." Bella told her mom as she packed her bags.
"Are you sure you don't want to go to Florida with me?" Her mom asked.
"Yeah, I'm sure. I want to see Charlie." Bella looked at her mom with a look of sincerity. while deep down she really just didn't want to be with her mom and her mom's
boyfriend. When Bella finished packing her mother drove her to the airport and they said their goodbyes.
"You sure you don't want to reconsider? Ford is so boring and dull…"
Bella sighed as she told her mom, "I am going, good bye! Love you!"
They hugged and Bella got on the plane. About an hour later Bella landed in Ford and saw her dad waiting for her. "Hey Char…I mean dad!" She stuttered as she got off the
plane.
"Hi Bella, should I take your stuff?"
"Sure, thanks." She handed Charlie her luggage and got into the car. On the way to the house she noticed how much Ford hadn't changed since the last time she was there.
Ford was a damp, dull, and small town. So small that everyone knew everyone and was always in everyone else's business. It was the exact opposite of Phoenix, a large,
beautiful, and lively city. No one knew what you did every second of the day.
When Bella got to the house, she went upstairs to unpack in the room she was staying in. Then she went for a walk around Ford. As she wandered she saw this beautiful boy.
He had pale skin, black hair, and his eyes were a hazelnut color. When he walked, it looked like he was gliding across the ground. Bella could not help but stare.
"Can I help you?" He asked as he looked at her with a look of disdain.
"Oh…um…no. I'm okay." She smiled to herself. His voice was deep but soothing.
"Are you Isabella?"
"Yes, but call me Bella." She said. Her cheeks flushed a bright red.
"I heard you were coming."
Shocked, she demanded, "How did you know?"
"My dad heard from Charlie and he told the family."
"Oh, I forgot this is a small town." She said without thinking.
"Yeah, it kinda is." He said with a chuckle.
"So who are you?"
"My name is Edward." He said with a smile. It was a crooked smile that sent a shiver down her spine.
"Nice to meet you Edward!" She stuck out her hand to shake his but he backed away.
"You should go."
"Why? I just went for a walk."
"Well then you should walk away from me. I will bring you nothing but trouble."
"What? Why?" Bella asked with confusion.
"You will understand one day. But right now, you should go home and get some rest."
"But-"
"Bella, please go to bed."
"Ok fine. But, can we meet tomorrow?" she asked eagerly.
"We shouldn't, but I want to. So yes. I will see you tomorrow. Good Night Bella." He kissed her hand and left her. Bella walked away and went home. After that they started
hanging out more and more. Eventually they fell in love. So, Edward told Bella about him being a vampire. She had no affect on it, she loved him too much to care.
