Hello again!
I've published another one of my poems for you. This one was actually written more recently than my previous poems (which are 3 or more years old). This was written on January 23 of THIS YEAR! WHOA!
Ha… and here's the story behind it: I met a guy (cliché way to start this story, huh? xD!) and we talked all the time, whenever we could. I started falling for him so badly that I would wake up in the middle of the night multiple times almost every night and would glance at my phone to see if he'd called or texted me.
So this poem is not only dedicated to the many sleepless nights I had before this guy and I finally started dating, but also to Helga, because before Arnold finally gets it through his DENSE SKULL that Helga is the love of his life, she has to be tormented and write in her little pink books about Arnold and her feelings for him. So, as always, my poetry is "written by Helga".

I awaken to the thought of you
Several times within the night
I could've sworn I felt your touch
Even though you're out of sight
My heart beats faster when I think
About the softness of your fingertips
I close my eyes again still longing
To feel your warmth and taste your lips
I crave a whisper in my ear
From a voice I know is yours
I smile sweetly at this thought
Because it warms my core
I look from side to side
And feel so lonely knowing, too
That although it isn't wrong to dream
It's wrong to think they're true
