The Boy Who was Aged Beyond his Years
The Boy Who was Aged Beyond his Years
I met a boy one random day
From a quiet town with little to say
A genius obvious for all to see
But clueless as any man can be
This boy was aged beyond his years
Silent was hismuffled fears
It wasn't long till he stole my heart
And tore the world I knew apart
Unknowingly he showed me something new
The world took on a different hue
This boy was aged beyond his years
Hiding all his unshed tears
I knew that he loved me too
By the gestures he would do
But he was afraid of showing emotion
Of loving someone with such devotion
This boy was aged beyond his years
Denying what was loud and clear
The pedestal he's on is mighty and high
For he is my hero for whom I'd die
But his past will not release him
My love is patient and won't dim
