sharp as a bullet

But you never keep your word….
First Tailgate, and now Cliffjumper…it all seemed so unreal, a never-ending nightmare for her. Twists and turns of the enemy's motives and what they leave behind would only be hollow lights and vicious hatred. What they call vengeance and bloodshed would be the one thing in store for the Decepticons, to be destroying the spark inside them slowly. The sparks in any Autobot who sought vengeance would then eventually be tarnished.
Deactivated, the signals offline, and a life no longer existent – that was what Arcee feared. From red to violet, from black and grey, from blue to dark red, yellow to green, red and white, and grey to silver. The many colors of her comrades, her longtime ones, and the ones who have become a memory were swirling in her mind, becoming ripples of what was lost and what is still here, but barely. What she could remember on Cybertron was drenched in battle and corruption, sticking by her comrades and her partners in the time on that planet. Now on Earth, where she had to be on her guard at all times, to be quick and defeat an enemy at all costs, was so that she would keep a promise, to have their word on that.
But you never keep your word…
Arcee never wanted to see a friend extinguished, not one, but now two flames have been snuffed by the Decepticons, their greatest enemy. Merciless, heartless, and filled to the brim with what darkness lied in their sparks; she would have to be as coldblooded as they are. She would avenge her comrades, protect, and extinguish those who dare stand in her way. She would have to be quicker than them, stronger than them, and always cut down the demons that mark themselves as Decepticons.
But you never keep your word…
She swore she would never become like them - she would never fade into blackness and strike like Airachnid, the one who killed Tailgate, and she swore that she won't be as treacherous as Starscream, the one who extinguished Cliffjumper. She knew that vengeance would only cloud her judgment, just like what Optimus said to her once, but she also knew that they had to pay for what they did. She was an Autobot, strong, tough, and was on the side of good, and she would never let herself become a Decepticon. She would never break that promise, cross her spark, and stand for what was right for their race.
She would never break that promise.
She would be quick to strike down her enemies, and bring them to justice, to never forget what life had once occurred on Cybertron, to be sharp as a bullet, quick to strike, and fast enough to extinguish the darkness from the world.
But you never keep your word…
