Chapter 1: Friends Forever

It was a warm summer day, like most days Kairi, Sora and Riku were all hanging

out by the water.

Kairi started to splash Sora as he yelled

"Kairi your getting me all wet!"

"I know thats the whole point Sora!" she Giggled ,

as she kicked some more water at him.

She swiftly turned to the sunset and said

"The sun, it is so...so beautiful. The way the light reflects... it's like, like a dream!"

Kairi spun back around to Sora. By the time she was facing him, their eyes met.

The way his eyes glistened made her smile.

"Riku are you coming in?" Questioned Kairi while she unlocked her eyes from Sora's.

Before Riku could answer Sora pulled Kairi into the water.

"Sora! You scared me!" she screamed.

Suddenly a loud boom of laughter filled the air.

"You guys are acting like children." Riku mumbled as he rolled his eyes.

Sora and Kairi looked at each other, than back at Riku. "One, Two, THREE!" Kairi and

Sora yelled as they yanked Riku into the water with them.

"Haha, now I see why you guys do this stuff, it's fun!" Riku laughed as he splashed Sora

in the face.

"Why do you guys only splash me?" Sora complained.

Quickly Riku splashed Kairi in the face as well.

"Happy now Sora?"

The three friends burst out in laughter and games.

About an hour later Kairi stood up and smiled one of her sweetest smiles.

"Why ya smiling so big, Kairi?" Sora questioned.

"Well, I made you guys two surprises..." Kairi taunted.

Riku and Sora looked at each other with smiles on their faces.

"What are they?" Riku and Sora asked at the same time.

Kairi giggled "Here." she gave Sora and Riku two star shaped objects.

"What are they?" questioned Sora, as he dangled the star shaped object by a blue

string attached to the top of it, in front of his face.

"They are wayfinders." Kairi continued.

"Wayfinders?" Sora asked again.

"Yes, Wayfinders, here is it easier for me to say that they are forever bounds between our friendship? So whenever you need strength, we can lend you it even if we arn't there, and we will never be apart." Kairi explaned. She brought her wayfinder to her heart.

Riku and Sora thanked Kairi for the wayfinders, but before she could run off Sora grabbed her arm.

"Friends forever!You me and Riku! No matter what! Forever..." Sora's voice got a little

loader with each word.

Kairis eyes started to water, Than she ran off to the kitchen.
