Asking
Wondering
About my life

Confusion
The pain within
Teenage angst
And a shadow of doubt

Beyond all this
Deep inside
Can you see?
The dark and light
Most of all the shadow of light

War
Death
Tears of loss
And it grows
The shadow of doubt

Maybe
When all this ends
The shadow of doubt
Will leave me
Sitting alone in my room again
