Fuu hummed a song to herself as she walked along the dirt path with the samurai duo.
'Where's my samurai?'
"Damn Fuu, You've been humming that same song all day. Can you possibility shut up?" Mugen complained as he looked back at the young girl.
Fuu only stuck out her tongue and continued to hum. Mugen grunted in defeat and turned back to the road. Jin smiled to himself; they always acted so childish together.
"Hey, what you smiling at?", Mugen demanded as he saw the look on the fellow samurai walking beside him. He continued to ignore his hot headed companion and turned his gaze to the chipper girl that was skipping joyously ahead of him.
'I'm searching for a man,
All across Japan;
Just to find,
To find my samurai.'
Mugen pulled out his sword as his short temper fused. Jin pulled his own sword in defense.
'Some who is strong,
But still a little shy.
Yes I need, I need my samurai.'
Fuu only continued humming as strolled ahead of them, like nothing was happening. Both Mugen and Jin turned to her. It confused them both that Fuu didn't bother to break them up, something she normally did.
'Chorus:
Ay, ay, ay, I'm your little butterfly.
Green, black and blue make the colors in the sky.
Ay, ay, ay, I'm your little butterfly.
Green, black and blue make the colors in the sky.'
Jin drew back his sword, seeing no need to fight and caught up with Fuu who didn't seem to notice what was going on around her, lost in the depths of her thoughts. Mugen grunted as he did the same. He looked over to Fuu as she hummed over and over again and she began to skip in a more absurd fashion.
'I wish I knew what the fuck she was humming about.' Mugen turned his attention away from her.
'I was searching in the woods
And high upon the hills;
Just to find,
To find my samurai.'
Oblivious of the path, she stumbled over a stray branch that spread along their course. She gasped in surprise and braced herself for the collision to the ground, only to fall in warm, strong arms.
'Some one I won't regret
To keep me in his net.
Yes I need, I need my samurai.'
Fuu gave him an innocent giggle. "Sorry." Mugen raised an eyebrow.
"Don't be such a klutz next time." Mugen advised as he let Fuu's feet touch the ground.
Strangely, Fuu only smiled at him and to Jin, which made Mugen even more confused. Normally she would have a nasty come back. 'She must be in a real good mood.' He thought to himself and shrugged.
'Chorus:
Ay, ay, ay, I'm your little butterfly.
Green black and blue make the colors in the sky.
Ay, ay, ay, I'm your little butterfly.
Green black and blue make the colors in the sky.
Ay, ay, ay- ay, ay, ay – ay, ay, ay - where's my samurai.
Ay, ay, ay- Ay, ay, ay- Ay, ay, ay - where's my samurai.
Ay, ay, ay - I'm your little butterfly.
Green black and blue make the colors in the sky.
Ay, ay, ay - I'm your little butterfly.
Green black and blue make the colors in the sky.
Ay, ay, ay- ay, ay, ay- ay, ay, ay - where's my samurai.
Ay, ay, ay- ay, ay, ay- ay, ay, ay-where's my samurai.
Fuu turn to see Jin walking beside her, Mugen trailing behind her. He seems to be staring at her deep in thought. Fuu smiled at him and waved and he quickly turned away.
'Ay, ay, ay - I'm your little butterfly.
Green, black, and blue make the colors in the sky.'
Fuu looked at him a moment longer and turned back to the journey in front of her.
'I found my samurai.'
