"Are you sure you're up for this, Zoey?" A girl named Misty asked. "You are performing in front of Paul Samuels, Ash Ketchum, and Kenny Taylor!" Another girl named Dawn gushed. "I'm fine. I know Paul personally. So I'm not nervous." A third girl named Zoey answered. She was the final act of the night and three very famous male singers. "You are so lucky to have a really cute and famous guy be your best friend!!" Dawn squealed. "I'm not just friends with him because of his fame and good-looks. We've been friends since before preschool." Zoey answered. "And now here is Kenny Taylor to introduce the last act!" The announcer, who was Kenny's uncle and name was Steven, said as an eruption of cheers and squeals came over the crowd when Kenny walked onto stage and took the mircophone. "Thank you, thank you. I'd like to introduce a girl with an amazing voice. Please give a warm welcome to Miss Zoey Bruno"
It was silent after he said that. He handed the microphone off to her and the music began. She sang,

Meanwhile, Paul was mezmorized by her singing. "I've heard her sing before." He said. "Sh. I wanna see if she'll win." Steven said. "She won't. She isn't that good." Kenny added. "Then why did you say she had an amazing voice?" Steven asked. "Because he always says that."Ash said. Zoey continued singing,

"Its her!" Paul exclaimed. "Who?" Ash, Kenny, and Steven said at once. "You know that girl I heard singing that night? Its her!" Paul answered. He stood up, knocking his chair backwards. "Who woulda thought his best friend could sing." Kenny joked.

Paul couldn't take his eyes off of her.

No one could believe what happened next. Paul had grabbed another microphone and started to sing.

They both sang,

"I▓ve got it find you This is real, this is me I▓m exactly where im supposed to be now Gonna let the light, shine on me Now, I found, who I am There▓s no way to hold it in No more hiding who I wanna be This is me!"

Paul walked onto stage with her. He took her hand as he sang,

"You▓re the missing piece I need The song inside of me You▓re the voice I hear inside my head The reason that I▓m singing"

She joined in,

"Now, I found, who I am There▓s no way to hold it in No more hiding who I wanna be This is me!"

"It was you all along." Paul whispered to her as the music died out. "I didn't want to tell you because I was afraid it would ruin our friendship." Zoey admitted. Paul smiled and let go of her hand. Instead, he put it around her waist and pulled her into him. He kissed her right then and there in front of everyone. When he let go, he mouthed the words, "I found you."
