It was 7:05 a.m. on a Friday morning. Keeley was fast asleep in her bed when her roommate came in the room to wake her up. She had an 8:00 a.m. class and if she didn't get up now she was going to be late.
"Keeley, wake up! You're going to be late for Psychology." Her friend Claire said shaking her friend.
"Alright…I'm up…you don't need to yell Claire." Keeley said groggily as she got out of bed.
"Did you stay up late again? When are you going to get a set schedule? You're lucky I made you coffee and breakfast." Claire said leaving their room. Keeley sighed and got dressed and then came out to have breakfast.
"Thanks Claire you're the best friend ever." Keeley said grabbing breakfast.
After classes today Keeley planned on going home for the weekend in Tokyo. Which wasn't that far from where they went to school at Saitama University. Keeley's family comes from a family of shrine keeper's that has been passed down from generation to generation. It has been a long time since she visited home. 3 months to be exact and she missed her little brother Ryuu. They day went by in a blur and eventually classes ended and Keeley's weekend could finally begin.
"Have a good weekend Claire! I'll see you on Sunday!" Keeley said as she left to go home.
"You too Keeley! Tell your family I said hello!" Claire said as she said goodbye to her friend.
One hour later…
"Hi mom! Grandpa! And Ryuu! I'm home!" Keeley said as she walked into the door.
"Keeley! I missed you!" Ryuu said running to greet his sister with a huge.
Keeley hugged her little brother back. "It's good to see you Ryuu. Where is everyone?"
"Oh, well…mom went to town to get groceries and grandpa is praying at the shrine." Ryuu said.
"Meow!" said their cat Dai who was rubbing himself on Keeley's legs.
"Hello Dia! Who's a good cat?" Keeley said giving him attention as she went to her room.
"It's good to be home. College can sure be stressful sometimes." Keeley said plopping down on her bed.
