Bellatrix proudly skipped through the hallways of the broken castle, delighting in the sight of all those filthy mudbloods and blood traitors, but also in that of some deatheaters. In truth she had never liked any of them, since they had never been able to to be faithful to the Dark Lord as she was and had always been. So she turned the corner to rejoin the battle, when destiny came to her in the form of her younger sister. She saw her…lying on the floor, her body battered and eyes widened. She knew she should've hated her…she had married a muggle after all…but her sister…that girl…her niece managed to remind her of a time in which she hadn't been any more than a kid being frightened about her sister's possible death. As she had done 38 years prior she kneed…her heart beating in her chest like back then. She spun her around and felt relieved to find out that she was still alive and smiled…the first sincere one since when she had decided to give up on the good side,if there had ever been some goodness in her heart.

"Andy"

Tonks stole her aunt an odd look and could've almost snicked away from her grip hadn't it been for the fact that she was feeling unusually hadn't even tried to crucio her. And above all she had called her with a nickname she could've only given her sister. It was then that she realized her aunt wasn't really seeing her,she was seeing the sister who had "abandoned" her and had kept loving nonetheless everything. She had thought her aunt could've never loved... maybe, just maybe she had sincerely loved her mother and before being a monster she had just been a girl,a sister…maybe even something more to her sisters,a protector.

"Aunt Bella"

She felt herself uttering her nickname, the one her mother herself had given her sister, but that she had never felt like using…not after everything she had done to her own flesh and blood. The older witch seemed to rouse from her "sleep",daze, whatever it was…but kept doing what she had been doing. She studied her as she slowly raised herself up,trembling as if she had seen a ghost and taking a step back as if burnt, but her eyes even if harder never lost their worried light. It was as if she were still in her bed, dreaming about something impossible, happening in the middle of something which just some hours ago had seemed to be pretty much impossible too. Hadn't the wall right in front of her exploded she would've thought it was just a dream…a nightmare or whatever the hell it had to be…but it wasn't as her aunt truly was standing there looking at her as if she had plague, but doing nothing about it. She watched however as Bellatrix slowly raised her wand up and pointed it at her. At the top of total craziness she heard her uttering those words.

"Avada kedavra"

Tonks went still…never to see again. Bellatrix looked into her niece's open eyes and only then did she realize what she had done .It couldn't be. She had just…a cousin yes…but…she had just killed her own niece, she had killed her sister. She had never felt guilty about anything in her life…but then she did..she felt guilty…and the guilt killed her….it crashed down on her like waves on the rocks. She had killed her own sister. She fell to her knees again…not even caring about what was happening around her…and tears…tears she had never shed wet her cheeks…cradling her niece as if she were her own child. What kind of sister was she?She grabbed her niece's wand and raised herself up while looking straight into her glassy eyes she pointed it to her head and said those two words again…this time against her own person…the guilt umbearable.

"Avada kedavra"
