A Very Thick Book

Nick wasn't sure what to think of the binder he now had resting heavily on his lap.

It had cost him more than he wanted to admit—more than just money, he had put in the time to color copy the entire thing himself. All two hundred and seventy-eight pages, hand decorated and occasionally scented. But he didn't have the time or resources to duplicate that—not that he wanted to! He was just curious. Extremely curious. And a little freaked out.

At least, that's what he told himself.

It's a very thick book, he thought, fingering a corner. It still shocked him that someone had put this much effort into a book about him, never mind who he was, or the girl who made it. It was a little creepy, yes. While copying it, he'd found some things that he didn't know anyone knew about him listed in the pages. So, definitely creepy.

But… he couldn't help feeling a little… flattered, too. After all, it wasn't every day a girl made a handbook about you.

With a heavy sigh, he opened the binder and began to read in earnest.

a/n: I was going to expand this originally, but I think it works well as a stand-alone drabble. This is just to prove to you guys that I'm not dead, and announce that I'm going to be posting some JONAS stuff soon. :) I promise.

Love!
Beth.
