Steve and Alex had just reunited after they both had gotten lost in the forest at night looking for each other. After nearly getting killed by the mobs, they found each other by the cove. They sat on a sofa in their hut and Alex rested her head on Steve's shoulder. He looked down at her and she faced him.
"I was worried about you," she said, placing her hand on his chest. "I was scared that the mobs had trapped you. I-I thought..."
She buried her head in her hands. Steve looked forwards and sighed.
(Steve): Night came to early
I was unprepared
Outside my shelter there eyes glowed
I looked but you weren't there
I lack resources I wish you could have stayed
But my path is now set in stone, just like the place we made
Time keeps us apart but this is not goodbye
We fight these battles alone
We'll be stronger when we're home
When the night ends
Steve closed his eyes and sighed. Alex slowly lifted her head from her hands and looked at Steve. She began to sing softly.
(Alex): I can not find you, the chasm time has made
The green ore I had desired found deep in our dark caves
Music connects us, rare moments in time
The pulsing giving us hope
As thoughts come from our side
Time keeps us apart but this is not goodbye
We'll fight these battles alone
We'll be stronger when we're home
When the night ends
Alex and Steve faced each other. Steve took her hands and stroked her hair.
(Together): Time keeps us apart but this is not goodbye
(Steve): We'll fight these battles alone
(Alex): And we'll be stronger when we're home
(Alex): When the night ends, (Steve): music connects us and bridges the gap of time
(Alex): It won't be long till the darks gone and the sun will shine on the land
(Together): When the night ends end
Steve and Alex looked into each other's eyes. Steve leaned forwards and wrapped his arms around Alex. The two leaned closer and kissed.
