Chapter 1

Allison Cameron was sitting on her bed, staring into space when her best friend and roommate, Lisa Cuddy came in.

"Hey Lisa." she said dreamily.

"Hey," she said, looking at Allison curiously. "You ok?" she added.

"No different to usual."

"We've been friends since 5th grade, you can't lie to me."

With a sigh Allison told all,

"I was really happy dating Robert, it was perfect. Then James came along and ruined everything! He cornered me after biology and told me he loved me."

"Oh my God! Had he said anything before then?"

"No. It's just, when I think about it, I think I might love him too."

"Are you insane?! You have a good thing with Robert."

"I know, that makes it all so much worse!"

"Who do you love more?"

"I don't know! Robert. James. Aah! I love Robert because he's smart and cute and nice but James is all those things too. And he's sensitive."

"I can't decide for you but you need to be absolutely sure before you do anything. I told Greg I'd meet him in the library now, wanna come?"

"Yeah sure, thanks."

"Hey." called Lisa as they approached Greg's table, Allison was staring at the floor as she walked. She didn't look up once until they reached the the table. Her heart was beating so fast all she could hear was the thumping in her ears. James Wilson was at the table.

"Um, sorry guys, I forgot, I have to go." she she managed before turning and walking as fast as she could out of the library.

"What's up with her?" asked Greg curiously.

"She's just a little confused about...stuff." said Lisa, struggling to find the right words.

"What stuff?"

"Just girl stuff." she said, still standing.

Greg pulled her onto his lap and gave her a quick kiss.

"You haven't been in any of my classes yet, I missed you."

"Greg, hun, we've only had one one class."

"That's one class I haven't groped you under the table."

Lisa slapped his arm playfully.

"I'm going somewhere else for fear for my mental and psychological health." said James.

Allison had got out of the library and ran full speed from there to Robert's dorm. She got there and stood outside and caught her breath before knocking. The door opened a moment later and Robert Chase stood inside it.

"Oh, hi All--"

He was cut off by her lips meeting his in a fierce, hungry kiss which he didn't hesitate to return. Not letting their lips part for a second, Allison led (or rather, dragged) her boyfriend to his bed for activities she hoped would erase her guilt.

"Why?" asked Robert as they lay in bed half an hour later.

"Why what?"

"You don't normally come in here and ram your tongue down my throat without a reason! What's up?"

"Nothing. I just felt like it."

"Right."

The door opened.

"For God's sake, Robert! You could have given me a warning!" yelled Eric Foreman, Robert's best friend.
