Different as the Sun and Moon

She preferred to stay with Rhys and I to stay with you

Her hair as warm as lava rocks and mine a neutral hue

She's a glowing optimist, and bleak is all I see

She may be diplomatic but I have honesty

Her trust in people seemed judgmental; cavalier at best

But I know that everyone needs to be put to the test

She might love your father, and take you on for the ride

But she would never promise to never leave your side

And how would she react, in all of her misguided pride

If she saw how you loved me, and held me as I cried

Before you fought the Black Knight, I think that she messed

It up by letting you go alone; my heart in harsh unrest

And despite her good manners, she lacks empathy

But not I, for I have seen things you're not meant to see

But whether you choose path of red or black to match your blue

I can clearly say this: I will always love you
