00:Prologue
It seemed as just a normal morning for Hirasawa Yui. She walked to school as she did every day, skipping down the same path that she was so used to. The sky was tinted gray with no sign of the sun. She stopped at the red light of an intersection, joyfully waiting for it to turn green. The traffic was running smoothly as usual, until a truck came speeding by. Out of the corner of the brunette's eyes she saw a flash of someone running through the intersection, in front of the speeding truck. Yui didn't realize what had just happened, dumbfoundedly looking down to the crimson puddle. After close examination she realized the body lying cold before her was once belonging to her best friend, Nakano Azusa.
The brunette's face was covered in tears as she stared at the body, confused. How could this happen to her little kitty? She broke down to her knees and fixed her gaze to the ground. "Hello there, Hirasawa Yui." Yui looked up to see a white creature sitting in-between the two girls. "You can still save her, you know." It's red eyes met her tear-soaked brown eyes. "How?" she nearly choked on her own tears.
"You just have to make a contract with me, and become a Magical Girl!"
