A/N: Lavender and Parvati are gossiping in the sixth year dorm room and invite Hermione to join in.
Hermione rolled her eyes as she approached her dorm room; she could hear the giggling from the staircase. Parvati and Lavender were having their weekly gossip session. At least that's what Hermione assumed it was. She generally stayed as far away as possible during this time on a Wednesday evening. But Mother Nature had decided to visit Hermione early, so all she wanted to do was curl up in bed with a good book.
It also didn't help that Ron was being a complete twat.
Bracing herself, she opened the door, barely noting the immediate silence. She trudged over to her bed and dumped her books before grabbing her pyjamas and going to the bathroom. She indulged herself in a nice, hot shower and braced herself once again before re-entering her dorm. This time, she took in Parvati and Lavender both sitting on their pillows in the corner of the room and smiled at them slightly as she collapsed on her bed and sighed.
There was silence for a few minutes and Hermione just closed her eyes, trying to relax. So she was startled when Parvati's voice called out to her.
"Hermione? Grab your pillow and come on over here with us."
Hermione pulled herself into a sitting position and looked over at the two girls, "What? My pillow?"
Lavender and Parvati both smiled at her reaction, but it was Lavender that replied, "Yes Hermione, your pillow. We all know what it's like when Auntie Flo visits, so come sit and have pillow talk with us." They both smiled at her.
Hermione thought about it for a split second before smiling in return and grabbing her pillow and joining the other two girls on the floor.
"So, what're we talking about?"
"The current and previous hottest guys of Hogwarts." Lavender and Parvati giggled and Hermione smiled. This might actually be fun!
"Can we start with Charlie Weasley?" Hermione winked at the two girls she normally disliked spending time with. Maybe the pillow really did help the situation.
