Slowly Toshiro walk down the street, stress flowing through his body. The sixth division captain by his side, looking like a typical tourist might I add.

They had been sent on a mission of some kind. Toshiro had no idea what it was, but he knew it had something to do with Ichigo (typical right?).

Ever since Yamamoto died after the war, the soul society has been hectic. Everything had to be decided by central 46 and that wasn't good. Their word was the last word, you couldn't change their minds.

The only reason that toshiro was here was because Byakuya hadn't been in the world of the living for the last 100 years. Which meant he had to show him round for a couple days then go back to a drunk division because Rangiku was in charge. Just great right?

Granted Byakuya had been in the world of the living during the bount attack but that bearly taught him about the new culture of Japan.

What made this experience even worse was Byakuya's vast curiosity for 'the new world'. Toshiro felt a lot more annoyed than usual. Byakuya got intrigued by a stick of gum Toshiro bought. Let's just say it wasn't easy.

As they walked through the streets Byakuya was curiously eyeing his surroundings. Toshiro combed his snow white hair with his fingers, while sighing deeply. He seriously needed to get some sleep, he had done an all nighter last night. Rangiku was really lacking lately on paperwork. He was pratically a living zombie and baby sitting Byakuya wasn't helping the fact.

Today was going to be a long day.

"Why did we have to go to school again, when the semester is over?" Karin said still annoyed. She still can't believe Yuzu was able to drag her out of her sleep so easily. Especially considering she wasn't a morning person, she was probably the last thing from one.

"Remember the school has a fair and you promised thar you'd help me set up." Yuzu stated. Yuzu also knew Karin wasn't a morning person but all the other Kurosakis weren't morning people either. Plus Karin was the only one she could successfully guilt trip.

"Yuzu why are you always helping that school? It's not like it's gonna get ya grades up."

"Because it's always good to do something nice. But I know you have built some reputation were you have to act cool, I understand. All you hsve to do is help me set up."

Karin knew she really did understand and cursed her fate. Why was she such an idiot? She sighed slightly not really minding the generosity of her twin. It actually put a smile on her.

"What's with the smile?" Yuzu questioned.

"Ya just like mum aren't you? " She asked, just the general thought of her warm hearted mother made her mood light up.

"Of course I want to be like mum!" Yuzu said a little hot headedly "If I could be half the person she was I'd be happy." She said a bit calmer.

"She was great wasn't she." Karin said while looking into the sky nostalgically.

Yuzu just smiled and anwsered with a simple "yeah".

It was serine moments like this that they wished sould last forever. When they thought about the good and kind qualities of their mother and not her untimely death.

Suddenly Karin got out of her train of thought, pausing her walk. She felt the signature icey reiatsu wave through her body, sending shivers down her spine. "He's back" she muttered softly to herself " took you long enough." she now had a gentle smile gracing her lips.

"Em, Karin, what are you doning?" Her sister asked slightly worried.

"Oh, nothing." She answered as she continued to walk, "Come on were gonna be late."

Hope you enjoied!
