No one else knows what it's like to phase out….but I do, and this is my story, my story as to what happened, as to what I saw. First, my name is Austin; I was only in the, what they now call the FAYZ, which stands for Fallout Alley Youth Zone for week. But the thing the kids inside the FAYZ don't know is that it was no accident. They do not know how they are just experiments for the government. Yes, that's right; the whole thing is for the government's pleasure.
It may sound weird to know that but I found out as soon as I phased out. I landed right outside of the dome. That is where I found my parents standing right outside of it watching me, watching us, seeing what we were doing. Then, things went for the worse for me, the police grabbed me before I could even say hi to my parents, they grabbed me and through me into a cell. They don't want anyone to know that the kids can easily get out if they can survive till they are at least fifteen, that's all it takes to get out.
What did I see that made me phase out? I saw my mother, the one person I can trust, she is my best friend. No one understands me like she does, and she doesn't care that I'm just a little different, what's different about me? Well I'm gay, and I told my mother on my fourteenth birthday party. She couldn't have cared less! This makes me feel so much better. But, they took me away from her, and I'm going to escape this place. I'm going to break out of this jail cell and go back to the FAYZ, go find my mother, go tell the world what they government is doing.
