Summary: The Break up five year old Willow and Xander version.

Xander held the doll in his hands. He didn't get why girls like playing with barbies so much. They weren't like GI Joes who could fight; they just stood there, well they couldn't even stand really due to their weird feet. Xander tried to make it stand again just in case all the other times he had tried were different. He placed the red haired barbie on her feet just to watch her tumble to the table he was sitting at again. She just laid there on her back in her little blue dress. How useless; couldn't even stand up. He got up from the table and grabbed the barbie.

Why did Willow like playing with this? It was so boring! There had to be some way to make it cooler, Willow would like that wouldn't she? Xander looked at the door. Why was Willow taking so long she said she'd be right back? He made his way out of the room and to the stairs to see if he could see Willow coming back up them but he didn't see her. He made his down the hall, mostly just wondering aimlessly looking at things to take his mind off the fact that he was bored waiting for Willow to come back up the stairs.

He had forgotten mostly about the doll in his hands when Xander unexpectedly tripped over his shoe laces. He had learned to tie them but they were always coming undone and he never really noticed when they did except for when he tripped. Xander dropped the barbie automatically as he reached in front of him with both his hands to break his fall. He made his way after a moment slowly back to feet glad that nothing hurt until he saw it. The barbie he had been carrying in his hand had somehow dropped into a laundry basket. It being as small had fallen far in. Xander could only reach the legs of the barbie. However, he had to get the barbie out of there before Willow saw it. He wrapped his fingers around the barbies legs the only thing he could reach and pulled with all his might.

His eyes widened as with an audible pop the body went with him but the head didn't. He looked between the two in horror and that was when Willow came up the stairs. Xander eyes left the barbie and focused on Willow whose hair was in two braids today and for a moment she look at him happily, before her eyes focused on the Barbie. Her eyes narrowed at him in anger, she was rarely angry at him and he knew this was going to be bad.

"You broke Britney!" her little voice shrieked in anger. He hadn't even known it had a name but he supposed that most of them probably did. His cousin Kayla had been playing barbies and he had been forced to play with her once and all her barbies had had names. He felt bad that he had broke her doll. He knew how much she liked them even if they had never played and they mostly just sat on the table in her room as far as he knew.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean it! I just dropped her in there and she broke when I tried to take her out." Xander said quickly but he may as well not have spoken at all, if anything Willow just looked even more angry.

"Britney was my favorite! She's the only barbie I had with red hair and you broke her." her little lip trembled and he could see water gathering in her eyes like they did when his mom was about to cry. Xander felt even more bad. She came at him in a way that made Xander move away from her and eventually this lead him down the stairs and to the door. He looked at her apologetically but she just glared at him.

"I should go." he said awkwardly and hastened to open the door when a glare was his only response. He had only cleared the doorway when Willow stepped up to the door.

"I'm breaking up with you Alexander Harris." she yelled as she slammed the door.

Review please :)

A/N: I realize now that the line is he stole my barbie not he broke it so i guess it's slightly AU
