1 Stolen Love
"Rukia, you need to be on your way to school soon." said Byakuya. She sighed. Excusing herself, she got up and headed to her room to prepare for school.
Her shoes were on her shirt tucked in and her bag was stuffed full of her gross school supplies. Rukia hated school, course she was the one who had begged to go to a normal school with normal high school kids. Her brother wanted her to go to a private school but she declined, obviously.
She walked to school normally but on occasion Byakuya would drive her to school. This was no such occasion. And unfortunately for her, this particular morning happened to be freezing. Her breath froze as she walked, her hands tucked in her small pockets. Her skirt blew in the icy breeze.
"Oi! Rukia!" she turned as Ichigo ran up to her.
"H-hey." she shivered.
"Why don't you have a warmer jacket on?" he asked.
"B-bcause, I c-c-couldn't find m-my warmer one." she rubbed her arms. Ichigo slipped off his large jacket and put it on her shaking shoulders.
"There. Better?" She nodded. It was still warm from him wearing it and it smelled of him. Rukia pulled the warm thick fabric tighter around her body, though the shoulders were way too big and the sleeves completely covered her hands, she didn't mind.
About 15-20 minutes later the two arrived at school. Rukia glanced over to Ichigo and noticed how he seemed untouched by the cold. Shaking her head she continued on. Inside was so much warmer.
"Hey, midget." Rukia turned to him with a glare. "Can I have my coat back now?" She removed the coat and through it at him.
Lunch. Though the wind was still biting, it wasn't as bad. Rukia, Ichigo, Chad, Orihime, Uryuu and Tatsuki all sat under an oak tree that shaded them from the sun. The group laughed and joked all the while a pair of deep green eyes stared at the Kuchiki Princesses back. She could feel it, he knew that, by the way she couldn't keep still for more than a minute. He moved just before she turned to look behind her. Now hidden by a tree, he continued to watch her interact with her friends.
"When do we pick her up?" asked a voice behind the slim green eyed man.
"Today," he said, "After she is finished with school." he stated simply as he turned and walked away.
"You sure? What if that strawberry is with her?" asked the second man.
"We kill him and take her if he is." replied the first man and he left.
