Alexandra walked around her dorm frustrated. Ginny had already left for breakfast and she was running late- she had forgot her alarm clock. Pushing her Frustration aside she looked in the mirror; She had long dark brown wavy hair, Which normally looked fine but wasn't cooperating today. She gave up trying to fix it and just through it in a messy ponytail.
She glanced down at her watch- it seemed sh...e was soon going to be late to class Frowning at the fact she was going to get detention, she pulled on her robes and grabbed her rather heavy book bag. She headed to class hope that Snape would be a little late today as well and not notice her tardiness.
Once Alexandra reached the potions room, she looked around. It seemed as though class hadn't started yet- Thank Merlin- but snape was there and did notice she was late. "You are late!" He snarled as she sat down-it happened to be by Seamus.
"But you haven't started work yet," she stated. "You will serve detention tonight cleaning out one of the unused classrooms on the second floor," He said as if he didn't hear her statement. She nodded, Even though she had detention she was still as bubbly and happy as always.
Snape spelled the instructions to their potion on the board. The class immediately flipped to that page. Beside her- Seamus` hand accidently brushed hers as he opened his book. Peeking through her eyelashes- their eyes met for a moment before her cheeks turned pink and she looked away. As the bell rang she glanced over at Seamus and a smile was plastered on his face, before she could stop herself she was smiling as well.
Snape came by and saw the mess that was made of his cauldron. "Finnegan, Detention with Alexandra!" "Professor it was an accident! Yeh` don't really think that I meant to blow the potion up!' he said slightly amused. By the end of the day Alexandra made her way to the classroom on the second floor. Seamus was already there and she helped him scrub the floor and but the desk in their original spots.
Time passed by faster than Alexandra thought it would- she supposed it was because she and Seamus talked the whole time. He eyes seemed to flicker to Seamus. Butterflies filled her stomach as Seamus smiled at her. Just as they put the last chair in place Snape came in and dismissed them. She caught sight of a dirty cloth on the floor and she bent down to pick it up.
As her fingers grasped the dirty cloth, long pale fingers wrapped around hers. She saw that they were the hands of Seamus. They stood there silently and Seamus lifted his free hand to wipe off the dust that appeared on Louisa cheek. She looked up into his blue eyes and he kissed her on the cheek. Excitement flooded through her veins as he smiled. She was filled with pure happiness.
As they walked to the common room- hand in hand- Alexandra was tugged back. "Would yeh` like to come with meh to Hogsmeade his weekend?" He asked here. "I would love to go with you Seamus!" She hugged him tightly and continues to the common room.
