As some of you on my f-list would know, I'm working on a long fantasy Allelujah/Lockon (Neil) one-shot, but until it and the second chapter of "The Daydreamer's Complex" gets wrangled into a finish (one before the other), here's a RokuAlle drabble to kind of mock you with its shortness and its concept.
Who the hell likes those? x'D
THE MATTERS OF A SUN
Lockon has a tiny flame inside his stomach, one lit and sustained by a pure, unadulterated desire; that selfish kind that would grow, and ache, and ache if he ever attempted to feed it fuel.
But it was New Year's Day, after all. There was alcohol, not Sumeragi's, and worse for being otherwise. And then there was his hand, cupping Allelujah's smooth, concaving back, because Allelujah was crouched over him in the corner of his own room, the young man commenting dryly of how Lockon's breath reeked.
They'd kissed before, lightly. They had kissed.
But not that day.
That day, when he called out his name, he instead brushed Allelujah's hair away, softly. He found glinting golden, and he caught glistening grey, and both gazed back at him in astonishment.
That day, the flame ached.
