Forget Me Not
Zuko walked through the forest that surrounded their camp. Aang had pushed him to his last nerve, and he left so that he could recollect.
As he walked past a clearing in the forest, something blue caught his eye. He turned and investigated. Bordering the edge of the meadow were blue forget-me-nots. They were the same color as her eyes.
He walked over and plucked them out of the ground and brought them to his nose. There was no scent. Frowning, he placed them on the ground and walked away.
Zuko wanted to give her something that appealed to all her senses. Who needs forget-me-nots anyways? They're just stupid flowers… But, still, they were pretty… Maybe he should give them to her.
Walking back, he picked the bundle back up, and before he could change his mind, he raced back to camp.
Katara was sitting on Appa, gently rubbing his head, and tracing the necklace around her neck. Perfect.
Making sure to make no sound, he climbed up on Appa and padded behind Katara.
"Guess who?" he whispered in her ear, covering her eyes with his hands.
"AAHHH!"
Katara jammed her elbow in to Zuko's groin and then proceeded to kick him- over and over and over again. But when she saw who it was, she stopped.
"Zuko! Are you okay! Oh, I'm so sorry! But, what were you doing?" She peered down at him, groaning and curled up in the feetle position.
"Uuuuuhhhhhh…. Here."
He thrusted the forget-me-nots at Katara. She blushed.
"Oops. Sorry."
