My first breath
The clean air felt funny
Then she was there
My mother, so loving
Her big brown eyes
I love her, it's true
But she had blood
A blood so sticky and sweet
I had to taste it
So I took a bite
Then she was gone
Daddy was trying to save her
I was taken away
I didn't mean her harm,
I swear
The stupid blonde
She took my mommy away from me
Gave me a bottle of blood
Then I saw him, behind the blonde
Crouched and ready to strike
His messy hair and dark skin
He can't be a creature like me
He froze when he saw me
He rose and asked to hold me
His arms were so warm
But I couldn't wait
Until my mom could hug me
And I could show her
