"Draco," Professor Lupin called. "Why don't you come and face the boggart next.
Masking his nervousness with a snarky tone, Draco replied, "It won't work on me. I'm not afraid of anything."
"Come now. Everyone is afraid of something," Lupin replied.
Draco remained where he was.
"I suppose you could always come in after class if you don't feel comfortable."
A few people snickered. "Is wittle Draco scared?" a mocking voice taunted.
Draco whipped around and saw Weasley grinning at him.
"I'm not afraid of a bloody boggart," he said cockily. He started to make his way to the cabinet, purposely shoving into people.
The bear that had been there started to change. Draco gulped, knowing what was coming.
The man that now stood before him was Lucius Malfoy.
Many people started to laugh, but to Draco, all the noise was drowned out once his father opened his mouth.
"You were always a disgrace to this family. You always were the biggest mistake I have ever made," Lucius started.
"But father..." Draco began.
"SILENCE!" his father said, striking him across the face.
Tears formed in Draco's eyes, and the laughter engulfed him. Seeing no other option, Draco ran, leaving behind his father and the others.
