My second fan fiction, so enjoy it please.
Spencer looked up at Derek with pleading eyes, "You can't just leave like this again." They had been 'together' for 2 months straight. He noticed he was becoming as distant as before.
Derek avoided his eye sight. "What does it matter anyway? Besides, after this there won't be an 'again'. I just feel what I felt anymore."
Spencer was furiously intrigued. "So you're just going to end it right here on the spot?"
"I think it's for what's best. Goodbye Spencer." He picked up his bags and walked out the green door.
Spencer looked away as the floor creaked moans of sadness in between them. Once the door shut he ran outside on the patio, only to see a cab car roam down the road. It got smaller and smaller with each word he said to himself, "I knew that I'd get like this again, that's why I try to keep at bay. Be 100% when I'm with you and then a perfect heart's length away. The stickler you've played, not one beat wrong. You never promised me anything. Even sat me down, warned me just how they fall. I knew the odds were I'd never win; yet here I am. It's a half life. With you as my quarterback, a daft life."
Author's Note: Last part repeated from Half Life by Imogen Heap. The review button respects you as much as you do! (If you don't, go home)
