Trampoline

"I do not understand the purpose of this device" Teal'c said as he stared across the new Earth thing.
"It's a trampoline, you get on it and bounce" Sam said smiling as she showed him a trampoline with mesh all around it, protecting anyone from falling out. Just then Jack and Daniel walked over.
"Get on Carter and show him how to do it, that's an order" Jack said smiling. Carter raised an eyebrow but slowly nodded
"Yes sir" she said climbing in through the opening. Daniel leaned over to Jack
"Why did you order her to get on?" he asked bluntly
"I just wanted to make sure she does, she needs to have some fun in her life, plus I always wanted to see her on one of these things" Daniel tried not to laugh as Carter started to bounce
"You see Teal'c, you just bounce, come on and have a go" Teal'c raised an eyebrow before he proceeded to climb in. Jack and Daniel watched as Teal'c just stood there while Carter bounced.
"Now what?" Teal'c asked as he stared at Carter.
"Bounce" she replied
"Bounce?" He asked. Carter stopped
"Like this" Carter gently went up and down as Teal'c watched her. After a few minutes Teal'c started to go up and down slightly.
"Now jump" She said taking one jump showing him. Teal'c raised an eyebrow
"This fabric does not seem suitable for our combined weight, Major Carter" Sam smiled
"I can assure you Teal'c, that it can hold up to 180 Kilos"
"Kilos?" Carter stopped and was about to say something when Jack shouted
"It's to measure weight, now jump! That's an order!" Carter saw Teal'c face change but he started to jump gently.
"So what do you think Teal'c?" Jack asked. Teal'c turned around to him
"And this is supposed to be fun?" He asked still bouncing slightly. Jack raised an eyebrow
"What? You don't find it fun?" He asked shocked, his eyes glanced across at Carter who was smiling widely as she kept on bouncing around the confined space.
"I don't find the purpose of this trampoline to be of any use to anyone" Jack looked across at Daniel who smiled
"Oh I don't know" he said staring at Sam who was in a world of her own "Carter seems to be getting some use out of it" Daniel put a hand near his mouth
"Should we tell her we haven't paid for it yet?"
"Hey guys, come on! This is fun!" Carter kept on bouncing around in a circle
"Na, we'll tell her tomorrow when we have to pry her off of it"
"You think she'll be in it that long?" Daniel asked looking as she bounced off the mesh side. Jack opened his mouth
"Ah, yeah" Jack turned back to Teal'c
"Put some effort into it Teal'c, jump harder" Teal'c looked at Carter who just shrugged as she moved aside for him to jump. Teal'c stood for a moment then with all his might he jumped hard... Very hard. He hit the fabric and as he impacted, it broke sending him and Carter crashing to the ground, springs went flying everywhere. Carter and Teal'c just sat there for a long moment
"It appears that we are over 180 Kilos" Teal'c stated looking at Sam
"No I don't think it's that, Carter how much cake did you eat this morning?" Carter looked across at Jack and saw him smiling widely. Just then Daniel walked forward.
"What Jack means is not to put quite as much effort into it"
"But Colonel O'Neill ordered me to jump"
"Yeah for fun, not to squish a mother ship, it is a children's toy" Jack replied. Teal'c raised an eyebrow
"I see" Jack and Daniel walked over to them and helped them up. They looked at the now demolished trampoline.
"So now what?" Daniel asked. Jack put his sun glasses on.
"Now? Now we go see if the money back guarantee covers alien damage"
